The Rifle Team competes on Tuesday evenings during the South Shore Rifle and Pistol League season.

During the summer months, shooting moves outdoors, with Tuesday evening sessions held on the club’s outdoor ranges.

Schedule & Location

• Match Night: Tuesday evenings

• Start Time: 8:00 PM

• Please arrive early for setup and squadding

• Location: Indoor ranges when hosting Home Matches

• League Schedule: Set by the South Shore Rifle and Pistol League

• Cost: $2 per night

Smallbore Rifle Competition

The Smallbore Rifle Team competes using Light Rifle and Precision Rifle categories. Matches consist of a 30-round course of fire shot at 50 feet from three different positions:

Course of Fire

• Prone: 10 rounds

• Standing: 10 rounds

• Kneeling or Sitting: 10 rounds

The Light Rifle category is an excellent entry point for new competitors, allowing participation without the expense of a dedicated Precision Rifle. Scopes are permitted, making the discipline accessible to a wide range of shooters.

Adults compete alongside junior shooters, creating a supportive, multi-generational team environment.
