
General Applicability
- All
Outdoor Range Rules apply to the Archery Range, unless otherwise noted.
Firing Line & Shooting Procedures
- The practice
firing line is established at your designated bow rest.
- Shooters
must use designated shooting lanes only.
- Cross
firing is strictly prohibited.
- Broadheads
and crossbows may be used only on designated black targets.
- Keep
arrows in your quiver or stand until you are ready to shoot.
- Always
keep arrows pointed downrange toward the targets.
Downrange & Retrieval Safety
- No
arrow retrieval is permitted until the line has been declared safe.
- Do not
handle bows while anyone is downrange.
Range Use & Conduct
- A
maximum of two people at a time may use each shooting stand.
- Secure
loose clothing to prevent interference with shooting.
- Clean
up after yourself and leave the range in good condition.
- Treat
fellow archers with courtesy and respect at all times.
Supervision & Access
- No one
under the age of 18 may shoot on the Archery Range without direct
supervision by a Member.
- Guests
may only use the range when accompanied by a Charter or Associate Member.
- Only one
guest may shoot at a time, under direct visual supervision.
- The
supervising member may not shoot while supervising.
Alcohol, Drugs & Legal Compliance
- Alcohol
or drug use is strictly prohibited before or during archery activities.
- No
individual may participate if they have consumed alcohol or drugs.
- All federal
and state laws applicable to archery equipment must be obeyed.
Enforcement
- Failure
to comply with these rules may result in immediate removal from the range
and may lead to suspension or termination of membership.
