On Saturday, all ranges are closed until 12:30 PM for work parties. Otherwise, the indoor pistol ranges are open 24/7.
Fundamental Firearm Safety
- Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
- Always keep you finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
- Firearms must remain unloaded until ready to shoot.
- Bolts and cylinders must be open and magazines removed until positioned on the firing line and ready to fire.
- Eye and ear protection are required at all times while on the range.
Firing Line & Cease Fire Procedures- Keep your muzzles pointed in a safe direction and downrange.
- All firing must be conducted from the firing line only.
- When a cease fire is called:

- Immediately unload all firearms and make them safe.
- Activate the flashing red light.
- No handling of firearms is permitted during a cease fire.
- Movement beyond the firing line is permitted only in emergency situations.
- After the line has been declared safe, all personnel must step back from the firing line.
Targets & Ammunition
- All targets must be placed a minimum of 25 feet from the firing line.
- Paper targets only are permitted.
- Only ammunition approved for indoor range use, as posted on each range, may be used.
- Any handgun ammunition restrictions will be posted and must be reviewed prior to commencing fire.
- Full automatic, burst fire, and bump firing are prohibited.

- Rapid fire is permitted only when conducted responsibly and with full control of the firearm.
Supervision & Access
- When present, the Range Master and assistants are in charge.

- In their absence, all members present act as temporary range officers.
- Junior members may not use the range unless under the direct supervision of a Charter or Associate Member.
- Guests may only use the range when accompanied by a Charter or Associate Member.
- Only one guest may shoot at a time, under direct visual supervision.

- The supervising member may not shoot while supervising their guest.
- No movement forward of the firing line is permitted unless authorized by the Executive Board.
Conduct & Facility Rules
- No smoking, eating, or drinking is allowed while firing on the indoor range.
- Alcohol or drug use is strictly prohibited before or during shooting.

- No one may operate a firearm after consuming alcohol or drugs.
Legal Compliance & Enforcement
- All federal and state firearm laws must be obeyed at all times.
- Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate removal from the range and may lead to suspension or termination of membership.
