Firearms may only be unbagged at the shooting benches, and the muzzle must always remain pointed downrange.
Do not unbag firearms on the counter behind the benches.
Drawing from the holster is not allowed on the 100- and 200-yard ranges.
Empty chamber indicators must be inserted during a cease fire and while firearms are uncased and not in use.
II. Ammunition Restrictions
Armor-piercing, tracer, and incendiary ammunition are strictly prohibited on club property.
Firing of .50 BMG cartridges at 100 yards is prohibited and is allowed on the 200-yard firing points.
III. Approved Targets & Placement
Targets may be placed only at the designated distances of 25, 50, 75, or 100 yards.
Targets may not be placed on the ground. All targets must be mounted on approved stands.
Cross-firing is strictly prohibited.
Shooting at glass, cans, or other non-approved objects is prohibited. Only approved targets may be used.
Approved targets include:
Paper targets
Ballistic rubber targets
Steel plate targets mounted on a fixed stand
Clay targets
Paper targets:
To ensure proper bullet impact into the berm, paper targets must be mounted on target stands with a maximum height of 60” from 25-100 yards and 72” beyond 100 yards.
Steel plate(gong-type) targets:
May only be placed at the 100-yard berm, or beyond.
Must be attached to a rigid support (not suspended from rope or cable).
Must be angled downward at a 15o forward facing angle and no higher than 42”.
May not exceed a 36-inch centerline height.
Clay targets:
May be placed on the 100-yard berm face and,
Must not exceed 48 inches in height; and
Must ensure a proper impact into the berm.
IV. Hours of Operation & Conduct
Range hours are9:00 a.m. to sunset, except for designated lighted fields or ranges.
