Big Bore and 100 Yard Range Rules
Firing Line & Ammunition Rules
All firing must be conducted from the firing line, unless otherwise approved by the Executive Board.
Armor-piercing, tracer, and incendiary ammunition are prohibited on club property.
Cross firing is strictly prohibited.
Targets & Placement
Shooting is permitted only at approved targets.
No shooting at glass, cans, or non-approved objects.
Approved targets include:
Paper targets
Ballistic rubber targets
Steel plate targets on fixed stands
Clay targets
Targets must be placed at 25, 50, 75, 100, or 200 yards only.
Targets must be mounted on target stands only.
Targets may not be placed on the ground.
Target height must be between 42” and 72” to ensure bullet impact into the backstop berms.
Steel plate (gong-type) targets:
Must be placed only at the 100-yard or 200-yard berms
Must be attached to a rigid support (not rope or cable)
Must be angled downward
Maximum height: 36” centerline
.50 BMG firing is not permitted at the 100-yard range.
